What changed, release by release. Component releases get a version; website-only updates are logged by date.

Compare: a new section with honest comparisons: shadcn/ui (with a note from the author), Magic UI, Aceternity UI and HeroUI. Facts current as of October 2026 (shadcn/ui defaults to Base UI since July 2026).
Articles: their own section at /articles with an archive (featured article, topic filter) and an editorial layout (TL;DR, sticky chapters, try-it figures, pull quotes, share buttons). Seven interactive articles: The macOS edge, One highlight that glides, Hairlines not boxes, Say it before you do it, Motion that explains, No layout shift, Small on screen big for fingers.
Contact: knock@greedui.com, as a copy button with a pixel burst (no mailto), in the footers and the FAQ.
For crawlers and AI: every page now arrives with its own title, description and full text, plus a Markdown twin (add .md or send Accept: text/markdown), discovery Link headers, an API catalog, an Agent Skill, Content Signals, JSON-LD and IndexNow pings.
Cleaner pages: stopped Cloudflare injecting scripts our security policy blocks; Web Analytics added directly. CSS preload hint fixed so the stylesheet downloads once.
Brand: the hand-drawn GU mark in the header, favicon, app icons and a dark social card.
1.0.10
Every registry item is stamped with the release it last changed in: meta.version in the registry JSON, @version in the installed file's header, (vX.Y.Z) per item in llms.txt, and "changed in vX" on each docs page. The Installation docs explain how to update.
llms.txt gets a short design-language section so agents building new UI stay consistent.
New DESIGN.md: the full design guide for anyone (or any agent) adding or changing components.
1.0.9
Base UI 1.9 (better Drawer swipes and mobile keyboard handling, faster large lists, accessibility fixes), Motion 14.1, Vite 8.3.4.
Mobile: nothing spills past the screen edge on any page at 390px or 768px. Toolbars and dot charts scroll sideways instead of overflowing, the Status uptime card stays on screen.
Touch: Checkbox, Radio, ScribbleCheck, Combobox chip remove, NumberField steppers and other small controls get a finger-sized hit area (24px+) without changing how they look.
1.0.8
Popovers, menus, dialogs and every other floating surface get a macOS-style edge: a light line just inside, a dark hairline just outside, and soft offset shadows. New tokens --ui-edge and --ui-edge-in.
1.0.7
FAQ block: contact can take an icon and open in a new tab (external).
Site: no layout shift in the hero or CTA when text rolls, a soft ambient halftone wave in the hero, an FAQ section, a dithered footer wordmark, a clickable llms.txt link with a decode effect, and the ⌘K palette preloads so the first open is instant.
1.0.6
Reduced motion stays on by default, and apps can opt out on purpose with <html data-ui-reduced-motion="ignore">. CSS, the motion-safe/motion-reduce variants, getFeature, Tumbler, charts and MotionProvider all follow it. The theme Studio has a switch for it.
llms.txt starts with the setup questions agents should ask (theme, motion, reduce motion, which parts, icons) before installing.
Site: 103 Early Hints for the entry CSS, JS and fonts.
1.0.5
FlowSheet: a failed step shakes the sheet once, like a wrong passcode.
Status pauses its heartbeat off screen. MeshGradient draws its slow drift at about 30fps.
Reduced motion: no animation loops forever and nothing smooth-scrolls.
1.0.4
FlowSheet and letter form: the sheet shrinks back to fit each step again (a flex row was stretching the content to the old height).
Home: plainer copy for the agent note and the no-internet promise, brighter CTA numbers and arrows, copying the hero command sends halftone waves across the stage.
1.0.3
FlowSheet: back to the compact sheet (no bottom dots), the processing step is centered.
Meter and Progress: a set cells count stretches to fill the width again. The battery example uses the full row.
Dialogs, sheets and backdrops close with a visible ease and scale instead of blinking out.
Segmented controls skip the toggle ring burst (it fought the sliding indicator).
Docs: the Vibe GreedR note sits inside each example frame, and the confusing notes were rewritten in plain words.
Site: first-party install and copy counts (no cookies) with a private /admin page.
1.0.2
FlowSheet: size and content move together (no jitter going back), the sheet stays centered, dotted progress along the bottom turns green on the last step.
ScribbleCheck: rounded box, the pen shows by the box on hover, ticks it, then rides the underline. No pen without an underline.
Toggle and ToggleGroup: clicky squash and a dotted ring when turned on (useToggleFx). Input and Textarea: a dotted ring on focus, a softer caret.
Letter form: the pen follows the signature, the paper stays cream in dark mode, and it ends with Stamp it, a fold and a sent state. Going back is a calm morph.
Morph clips in the same frame it resizes, so growing lists no longer flash.
Stat groups use equal columns (4, 2x2, 1). Pixel cells keep a fixed small gap.
Sign-up: password rules show examples, steps rise in row by row.
Tumbler wrap mode no longer clips descenders.
1.0.1
New: FlowSheet (multi-step sheet that morphs to fit each step), ScribbleCheck, HandUnderline, and the letter-form, hero-stage and hero-pulse blocks.
AnimatedNumber and Stat roll digit by digit by default. spring keeps the old counting.
Status has dot-matrix signals and an optional uptime strip. Sparkline area fills get a dither texture.
Pixel progress cells are narrower and taller. Chart dots are a bit taller.
Popups, tooltips and hints animate out on Escape and outside clicks too.
data-table filters have icons, sign-up checks three password rules, FAQ answers stagger in.
New theme tokens: font-hand, font-sign.
